We are overjoyed to be bringing Henley Stoves’s fabulous wood burners to our Luton Showroom this spring.
Henley Stove Models
Henley Stoves has been making wood burners just outside the fair town of Tralee, on the road west out to the beautiful Dingle Peninsular in County Kerry for over 30 years. EcoDesign ready, some with the Clear Skies 5 rating and DEFRA Exempt (see below), we are happy to bring their range of stoves to the homes of Luton and Bedfordshire, to give your living room that little bit of Irish warmth.
Henley Stoves offer a range of modern and traditional stoves with outputs from 4.9kw to 12 kw. With an A Energy Rating and efficiency of up to 80%, their stoves will keep you warm without the endless trips to the log store that are required by open fires and less efficient wood burners!
Three Great Wood Burners
You can browse their brochure at your leisure and shop on our online store, but here are three wood burners, that our head engineer has picked out for you, that represent Henley’s excellence in design and quality and all at a good price! NOTE: In fact Henley Stoves are well priced across the board, from these three examples up to their larger boiler stoves that will heat a whole house!
Henley Leaf – A Compact wood burning stove that packs a punch.
The cutest little wood burner you are likely to see and, at well under £900 it won’t hurt the budget either. It is one of the smallest stoves that we sell, but it will easily take a standard 9″ log and it still manages to pack a fair punch, with a heat output of 5kw
The wooden handle is set away from the body of the stove to help it stay cool but we would always recommend using a glove when tending to your stove (free with every stove bought).
Despite its small dimensions, it has a good sized window, that is kept clear by the stove’s tertiary air vent and clean burn system (a feature of all Henley stoves) – so you can always see the lovely flames.
Henley Elmwood – Stylish Ecodesign 2022 Compliant stove
The stylish Victorian design of the Henley Elmwood makes it stand out from the crowd with the perfect look for a smart townhouse or a cosy country cottage. The Elmwood comes as a 5kw wood burner or a powerful 6.7kw Multifuel Stove.
Both stoves come with the ability to fit an external air kit which connects them directly to the outside, making them work more efficiently AND enabling you to install them in a new build.
The combination of cast iron door and steel body ensure that the stove heats up your room quickly and also radiates heat well into the night.
As with all Henley stoves, the Elmwood comes with a 5 year warranty.
Henley Hazelwood – 5kw DEFRA exempt Wood burner with large window
The Hazelwood wood burner comes in four different formats – the compact for those with a small builder’s opening, the Landscape for a wider viewing window, a double sided stove for heating two rooms at once and, if you would like a free standing stove in the room, why not treat yourself to the Hazelwood with Log store: a beautiful statement piece of furniture with a cast iron door and a large viewing area.
All single sided versions of the Hazelwood have achieved the highest Clear Skies 5 award and are DEFRA exempt: approved for use in local smoke control zones like Luton, Bedford, Stevenage, Letchworth, Watford, Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury.
